During a hot stone massage, smooth, flat, heated stones are placed on specific parts of your body. It's used to encourage a warm sense of relaxation and ease tense muscles and damaged soft tissues throughout your body. 

 Combining slow strokes and notable finger pressure, the purpose is to release the tension and tightness held deeply in your muscles and your connective tissues. A deep tissue massage will typically focus on your primary areas of discomfort and trigger points.

Aromatherapy is the use of essential oils for certain benefits. The overall purpose of aromatherapy is meant to improve your physical and mental well-being. Examples include lavender, orange, bergamot, and eucalyptus. These “aromas” are all plant-based derivatives from herbs, tree extracts, and flowers.
